Stephen and Josie King have considerable experience in animal care and welfare as they have for 19 years run Four Paws Hotel Luxury Dog Boarding Kennels, which is licensed for 100 dogs.So their experience is extensive. The have owned many dogs over the years, including Irish wolfhounds, German Shepherd Dogs, Border Collie and now they have just rescued a Irish bred Cocker Spaniel, long legs and all. Stephen G King was until recently a member of the tutoring staff at the Animal Care College, where he headed the tutor team in the Animal Care and Welfare department of the college. The college offers Open Learning Courses through the City and Guilds of London and the British Association of Correspondence colleges. Stephens tutored the Advanced Diploma in Animal Care, which covers, Health and Care, Nutrition for dogs, Advanced care and Management. Stephen was awarded the Animal Care College (OCN) Dip Advanced Canine/Feline Care 1994 with Distinction. Stephen is also a founding member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) which uses only, Kind, Fair and Effective methods to change behaviour. Stephen was awarded the Open College Network Diploma in Animal Behaviour 1993 with Distinction. Claire Gammon obtained a Distiction in the Diploma in Adanced Canine/Feline care in 2003 at the Animal Care College.
