1. Dogs can only be accepted on condition they have been fully inoculated within the last twelve months against DISTEMPER, HEPATITIS, LEPTOSPIROSIS and PARVOVIRUS, prior to being boarded  (CERTIFICATES TO BE PRODUCED EVERY TIME DOG IS BOARDED).

2. Crosskeys are authorised to call your Veterinary Surgeon should we need any information regarding your dog's condition at any time.

3. Entry to the Kennels will be refused to boarders if the current required inoculation certificates cannot be produced at the time of boarding.

4. Whilst every care and attention is given to each dog boarded at the kennels we cannot be held responsible for loss of life or illness from whatever cause (see condition 6).

5. In the unlikely event that your dog is not be collected within 7 days of the date of departure and not having any contact from you or your named contact, we shall be at liberty to re-home as we see fit.

6. All animals must be fit, in sound condition, and free from vice when entering our kennels. In the event that you dog should fall ill during boarding we reserve the right to call in a veterinary surgeon.

7. All call out charges and other transport costs will be borne by the owner.

8. It is your responsibility to furnish all relevant medical history as you make a booking. (Remind us every time).

9. As there are over 1,500 different diets available for feeding dogs and cats we are unable to supply every one, therefore you are at liberty to bring your dogs special food with you.  For dogs that do not eat their recommended food we will endeavour to feed anything that your dog will eat.

10.  Please regularly use worming tablets and flea preparations, as a charge will be made for providing this service.  (Prevention is better than cure).

11. Dogs must have a collar with identification on.  (NO CHECK CHAINS).

12. Monies paid are NON-REFUNDABLE in the event of cancellation and NON-TRANSFERABLE if cancelled within four (4) weeks of holiday dates.

13. All fees are payable Four (4) weeks in advance of boarding at kennels which are non-refundable.

14. All additional charges incurred during boarding are to be paid before removal by the owner of the dog.

15. Payment by cheques, accepted with bankers card. Credit Cards (Access, Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard and Switch). AN EXTRA £20 will be charged for any cheques returned, “Refer to drawer”. In these circumstances if the cheques have not been honoured by the day of collection, cash will be required before the animal/s can be removed from the kennels.

16. If the dog is collected before the stated departure date there is no refund.

17. We reserve the right to refuse entry to boarders at our discretion.

18. A small charge will be made for any SPECIAL CARE NEEDS such as administering tablets and medicines, full disclosure must be given.

19. It is stressed that all dogs must be on a lead at all times when owners bring them, as we accept no responsibility for loss or injury. (If a customer insist on kennel staff releasing dogs on our premises, it is then the responsibility of the owner) Collars being worn by dogs must be secure so they cannot slip loose. Customer's leads and check/choke chains are not accepted into the kennel.

20. Having paid the boarding fees, all dogs will be taken from the customers by trained kennel staff. No owners will be allowed to take their dogs into the kennels for health and safety reasons.

21. Whist in our care no dogs will be allowed visitors as this can upset them.

22. Beds are not required, as they will be supplied with vet bedding. Note we accept no responsibility for loss or damage to customer's belongings. I.E. any type of bedding, toys, leads etc. Any destroyed or soiled bedding will be disposed of. It is the customer's responsibility to notify any persons, prior to collecting and dog on their behalf of this condition.

23. Dogs can only be accepted or collected within BOARDING hours. Owners must call the next day if unable to reach the kennels by closing time on the day out, or the next time of business, whichever is applicable. Please note the Boarding hours on the information.

24.  Any owner requiring their dogs to share a kennel do so at their own risk and must sign stating this.

25. Failure to arrive on the date booked will result in the reservation being cancelled, unless prior notification has been given.

26. PLEASE NOTE: Dogs showing signs of kennel cough or any other contagious disease will be turned away.

27. No dogs will be accepted into the kennel without contact name and telephone number. Contacts may be asked to remove difficult or dangerous dogs from the kennels.

28. Owners are liable for any damage inflicted upon staff and or property by the dogs.
